India Leadership
Pastor John Arun Kumar

Arun Kumar is the facilitating pastor of Margham India. When Arun was a young boy his family converted to Catholicism. As a studious young man he became a priest and served the Catholic church for twelve years. Through the witness of a schoolteacher, Arun was led “into the fuller truths of the Bible” and was born again in 1988. Due to family tension in response to his new beliefs, Arun relocated and founded a village church. Through this work he met Darrell Dunham. As Margham’s principle facilitator in India, he visits and encourages Margham-supported pastors. Arun is also the adopted “Daddy” to the 17 children in the orphanage where he lives. In partnership with Margham, Arun hopes to bring the message of Christ to the entire East and West Godari region in Andhra Pradesh in the next ten years. Arun says “My prayer is that both Margham USA and Margham India will continue to build the Kingdom of God on a solid foundation in this ancient country, India, until the day of the Lord’s coming.”
