Support a Pastor and his family: only $45 a month
Margham provides monthly support to over 40 pastors in India. A pastor and his family can live comfortably on only $45 a month.
Support an orphan: only $30 a month
Over 120 children call one of the two Margham orphanages “home,” and only $30 a month provides housing, food, clothes, education, and a family-like community for these children.
Care for a widow: $10 a month
Widows are culturally outcast and face impoverished conditions for themselves and their children. $10 a month provides rice for a month for a widow and her family.
Care for a leper: $10 a month
Lepers are also culturally outcast, and $10 a month provides food, bandages, and medicine.
Bibles in the Telugu language: $3 each (bulk pricing)
Many literate Christians in India do not have their own Bible, and Margham pastors are eager to hand out the Scripture to interested neighbors.
Sewing machines for poor girls: $100
Sewing machines are $100 and provide a constant and respected. livelihood for a poor or orphaned girl.
A motorcycle for a pastor: $1,200
Most Margham pastors walk or bicycle to serve their congregations located in remote villages miles apart. A Honda motorcycle for a Margham pastor in India costs $1,200. A similar model in the U.S. costs at least $4,000.
A village church: $5,000
Margham has provided funding to build many churches in India. A typical village church construction costs only $5,000.
Pastors’ conferences: Anything helps!
A typical pastors’ conference costs about $1,500 for about 40 men. Conferences are held about once a year when American missionaries are able to visit.
